SMO Entities include customers or clients, vendors, partners, and sales leads.

SMO allows you to organize all the business and organization you deal with in one list. SMO provides quick and efficient filtering, searching and editing.

Entity Grid

Filtering and Searching

Filtering and Searching is easy in SMO. Just select the Filter drop down to filter by customers, vendors or partners.

Type in the Search box to instantly filter entities by name, type, or address

Selecting Entities

Select any entity in the grid and it instantly shows in the right panel.

New Entities and Editing Entities

Edit Entities

You can edit any record and it automatically saves. This improves your efficiently by eliminating an extra save button click.

New Entity

Select the New button above the search grid to create a new entity record. Be sure to select the entity type of customer, vendor or partner since once this is selected it can not be changed. Select Save when you are completed. Note: Save is only required for new records, when editing records no save is required.

Entity Tabs

Details

This tab has the name, address, and contacts Select the Billing button to switch between the billing and site address Select New next to contacts to create new contacts

Orders

This contains a list of orders for the entity Double Click an order to get more details of the order You can easily change the order status right from the grid or add or change the summary of the order.

Messages

All messages from any contacts from the entity are listed in this tab. Double Click on a message for more information or to reply Easily reply to the message by selecting the contact, add a subject, and type your message in the body. Change the status or summary of the message directly in the grid (note: Currently changing status on summary is not supported and single click goes to the message).

Financial

Shows all the financial and aging information for the entity

Contacts

View and add contacts

Documents

Upload new documents or view existing documents.

Links and Breadcrumbs

As you drill into orders, you can easily come back to the entity record for viewing or editing by clicking the breadcrumb link.
