Here is a design concept for SME7.
The goals are as follows:
- Provide an easy and consistant user interface.
- Reduce the vertical space used by buttons and menus to provide more room for the actual content of the record.
- IMPORTANT: Information in the upper portion will be moved to a tab to eliminate the moving of the horizontal bar between the top information and tabs. Thus in service order, all the information of customer address, due date, service code, etc will all be in a tab. Only the Customer Site name, Order number, and Summary will be in the top portion. All other content will be in the tabs.
- Add a refresh button for records
- Improve the SME design look
