High 5 Software supports two options for WebConnect, either we provide the software and setup instructions for you to install on your Internet web server or you can have High5 host the WebConnect for you.

Configuration Options:
Hosted option:

High 5 sets up and hosts your WebConnect on our Windows 2003 server with IIS. With this option, we work with you to configure your firewall to allow connection from the High 5 server to your SME database.

Software option:

High 5 provides you with the software and instructions. This requires you to have a Microsoft Windows 2003 server with IIS on the Internet (not in your internal network) and able to install our ODBC drivers. Note that if you have your website hosted on a shared server by an ISP, the ISP may not allow you to install the ODBC drivers.

System Requirements:
Hosted Option using High 5 Net Servers

• Must configure your firewall to allow access from the High 5 Server to your internal SME network. High 5 technical support will assist as part of the setup fee.
• Must have SME database server utility running on the server with SME. The database server utility is provided by High 5 Software

Software Option:

• IIS Web Server: Microsoft Windows 2003 or 2008 Server with IIS
• PHP enabled on the IIS Web Server
• ODBC connection from the IIS to the SME SQL Server
• Must configure your firewall to allow access from the WebConnect IIS Server to your SME SQL Server
